Job Overview

We are seeking a talented sales professional to represent our luxury-focused magazine in the Charlotte market. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with prospective and current clients, serving in an advisory sales capacity to help define, articulate, and understand clients' needs, goals, and challenges, matching to the appropriate products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients
  • Serving in an advisory sales capacity to help clients define their needs and goals
  • Effectively presenting to clients, both in person and virtually
  • Strong leadership skills and influential communication
  • Representing the company brand across the market, with a dedication to excellence, robust distribution and networking

Preferred Attributes and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Empathy and connecting with clients
  • Expert prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver influential presentations tailored to audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent is ideal but not required. Will train the right person.
  • Ability to network and build professional relationships with business owners, CEOs, etc.
  • Experience with Email Marketing / Social Media is preferred but not required
  • An energetic, enterprising, "can-do-anything" attitude with a professional, polished demeanor
  • This person is tenacious and never gives up. When problems arise, focuses on the solution.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with CRM tools + practices, with excellent follow up and organization skills
  • Expert at building strong, effective professional relationships

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base + Commission or Commission Only
