Medical Optometrist Position

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled medical optometrist to join our team in a larger rural community hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital-owned practice and be comfortable serving a diverse patient population.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing various conditions of the visual system. A comprehensive array of professional optometry services will be provided, including pediatric to geriatric care.
Requirements
- Graduate of a fully accredited college of optometry program (OD)
- 1-3 years of clinic experience preferred
- Licensed by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO)
- Licensed in the State of Vermont
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic Microsoft desktop application and navigation skills
