Job Description

**Job Summary:**

The Regional Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational performance of a diverse portfolio of residential multi-family apartment communities. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in property management, accounting, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Management: Review and analyze financial reports, prepare owner reports, and attend asset management meetings to ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise on-site staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, to ensure high standards of productivity and customer service.
  • Market Analysis: Maintain awareness of market trends and conditions, evaluating the performance of comparable properties and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and implement annual budgets, monitoring expenses and ensuring alignment with established goals.
  • Physical Inspections: Conduct regular physical inspections of properties to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a positive customer service attitude, addressing resident concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing and Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to on-site staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in property management, with a proven track record of success in managing multiple properties.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or real estate.
  • Skills: Advanced organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in property management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate on-site staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and customer service.
