Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and provide exceptional customer service to guests and team members.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive sales and financial success.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of department managers and team members.
  • Collaborate with the Guest Services Manager to provide a hospitable orientation and onboarding experience for new team members.
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and food safety regulations.
  • Engage with the local community through weekly sales and special holiday offerings.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a retail store manager in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with ability to read, understand, and follow policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising.

Physical and Work Conditions:

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Required to spend long periods of time on feet and stand or walk without a break.
