We are a leading specialty food retailer dedicated to providing our guests with an exceptional shopping experience. Our mission is to make everyday eating extraordinary, and we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Store Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for leading our store team to deliver exceptional guest service, drive sales growth, and maintain a clean and safe store environment. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing store team to deliver exceptional guest service and drive sales growth
  • Analyze sales data and make informed business decisions to optimize store performance
  • Ensure a clean and safe store environment, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
  • Partner with the Guest Services Manager to provide a hospitable orientation and onboarding experience for new team members
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve store performance
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to source, select, and hire new team members
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a retail store manager in a similar traffic, volume, and unit intensity
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with ability to read, understand, and follow policies and procedures
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising

Physical and Work Conditions

  • Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself, exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment
  • Required to spend long periods of time on feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law)
  • Required to wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment
