Your Responsibilities:
The Maintenance and Reliability role is a newly established position within the Operational Excellence division of Global Manufacturing (GMFG).

This role entails the formulation of the maintenance and reliability strategy and framework within a lean manufacturing context, facilitating deployment in collaboration with manufacturing sites, and spearheading root cause investigations along with the development of actionable solutions.

Travel will be an integral part of this position.

Evaluate the existing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, identify areas for enhancement, and collaborate with manufacturing sites to implement improvements.

Assess operational maintenance programs (including lubrication practices, operator asset care, and training). Collaborate with sites to execute enhancements.
Provide expertise and guidance in asset maintenance, reliability, and outages, as well as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) training.

Develop and monitor metrics and KPIs related to equipment downtime, operational efficiency, yield, process quality, throughput, and productivity.

Assist Operations management in establishing and maintaining audit and control systems for operator autonomous maintenance programs.
Support troubleshooting and solution development for chronic or high-priority equipment challenges.
Lead root cause analysis investigations and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), recommending actionable solutions.
Facilitate Kaizen-style TPM events to restore equipment to optimal condition and implement operator autonomous maintenance routines.
Guide the development and execution of spare parts strategies.
Ensure the incorporation of best practices and innovative technologies in preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
Optimize the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to enhance maintenance performance tracking and improvement.

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following qualifications to the team:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
Over 5 years of experience in reliability engineering within a manufacturing setting.
Preferred certifications include Six-Sigma Black Belt and/or Certified Manufacturing Engineer (SME CMfgE) or PMI certification.
Demonstrated initiative, leadership through influence, collaboration, and strong communication skills.
Expertise in the technical aspects of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies, including their creation and implementation.
Extensive experience with root cause analysis (RCA), reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and CMMS programs.

Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in a manufacturing environment and manage multiple projects effectively.

Demonstrated program management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilities.
