About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract and Budget Specialist to join our team at Pharmaceutical Research Associates, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the commercial relationship with sites involved in clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the successful negotiation and ongoing management of clinical trial agreements with investigative sites.
  • Work cross-functionally with Clinical Operations and Project Management to support timely site start-up for the conduct of clinical trials, including accurate forecasting of contract execution timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Functional Manager to ensure country-specific laws and regulations are followed to minimize risk in clinical trials.
  • Communicate and explain legal and budgetary issues to internal and external parties, adhering to department guidelines.
  • Review and evaluate client-requested contract changes and escalate deviations as appropriate.
  • Identify and proactively raise issues to the CTA Lead or CM, as necessary, prior to them becoming critical or creating risk.
  • Appraise contracts for completeness and accuracy, ensuring adherence to department guidelines, and correct documents and files changes to contracts.
  • Participate in client meetings to expedite the contract signing process, as directed.
  • Track all site interactions in a database in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring status updates are fully descriptive.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent.
  • 3+ years' experience with contracts.
  • Fluent English language skills; fluent in host country language required.
  • Two or more years of industry experience required.
  • Understanding of project management and service delivery.
  • Preferred: JD or advanced degree.
