Position Overview

The role of a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist is essential in providing high-quality respiratory care across various healthcare settings. This position requires a commitment to excellence and adherence to professional standards.

Certification Requirements
  • Acceptable certifications include AHA ONLY ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
  • The traveler's legal name must correspond with their RN or allied health license and certifications (no nicknames permitted).
  • For any name changes or updates, approval must be obtained on a case-by-case basis.
  • Certification documentation must be submitted in original format; screenshots are not acceptable.
Job Specifications
  • Two supervisory references are mandatory (note: charge nurses count as one reference).
  • Preferred candidates should have close to two years of relevant experience.
  • Floating between units is a requirement for most assignments.
  • An active Ohio State license is necessary for Registered Respiratory Therapists.
Job Prerequisites
  • Two managerial or supervisory references are required.
  • A unit-specific skills checklist must be completed.
Additional Information
  • An I-9 form is required for direct placements.
  • For substitutes, an attestation is necessary.
  • A current government-issued photo ID must be provided within 24-48 hours of contract signing.
  • The traveler's legal name must align with their RN or allied health license and certifications (no nicknames).
  • If undergoing a name change, proof of the name change must be submitted.
  • The legal name must be accurately reflected in the relevant systems.
