Job Summary

The Plumbing Superintendent is responsible for providing leadership and direction for day-to-day field operations of assigned projects, ensuring a cohesive team in conjunction with project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains a safe and secure work environment through safety meetings, incident investigations, and employee involvement.
  • Provides key leadership direction for field operations on a project to ensure a cohesive team in conjunction with project management.
  • Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
  • Manages field personnel priorities relating to technical ability and staffing levels to gain greater efficiencies and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of verifiable experience as a Plumbing Superintendent and state plumbing license.
  • At least 5 years of experience in LARGE ($20M+) commercial construction (hospitals, high-rise hotels, casinos, office buildings, etc.).
  • Must have med-gas experience.
  • At least 6 months of safety training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Travel Requirements

0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Climbing stairs. Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Quiet environment. Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Pay Range

USD $85,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
