Key Responsibilities

  • Manage BAS service projects, including planning, budgeting, resource management, and client interactions.
  • Offer technical expertise and support regarding BAS systems, including BACnet and DDC controls.
  • Supervise the design, installation, programming, and commissioning of BAS control systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring their expectations are met and fostering strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to guarantee successful project delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and modifications, while providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all projects uphold high-quality standards and comply with industry regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in BAS project management or controls engineering, with a focus on service projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. An EIT or PE license is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Visio, with familiarity in BACnet and DDC controls. Experience with control systems such as Tritium, Niagara, ALC, Allerton, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Schneider Electric is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for addressing and resolving technical issues.
