Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician - Controls to join our team at Pkaza LLC. As a Field Service Technician - Controls, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining building automation systems (BAS) and controls systems in data centers and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and wire BAS controllers and field devices, including low-voltage cable terminations
  • Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams, software development teams, and project managers to ensure the reliability and proper operation of BAS systems
  • Perform commissioning-focused design reviews, prepare commissioning test procedures and reports, and coordinate on-site testing and startup of BAS systems
  • Assist software lead with pre-functional and functional testing, and execute troubleshooting of BAS systems
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, commissioning agents, and subcontractors, to ensure project progress and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 3-8+ years of experience with BMS/BAS controls, preferably with Distech Controls and Tridium Niagara BAS platforms
  • Experience with critical HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handlers, CRAC/CRAH units, boilers, and other related systems
  • Ability to interpret AE construction drawings, BAS shop drawings, manufacturers' wiring diagrams, standards documentation, submittals, and product data sheets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and project delivery
