Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Winchester, Massachusetts. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients, maintaining professional boundaries
- Participate in patient rounds or teams, and complete patient care assignments
- Identify patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations and utilize de-escalation techniques
- Communicate changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse and follow established protocols
- High School diploma or GED required; two years of college plus one year of clinical experience preferred
- Previous experience in direct patient care, preferably in a psychiatric setting
- Verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in collaboration with others
