Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, referral sources, and commercial accounts through various communication channels.
  • Order Processing: Receive, qualify, and process customer orders in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Quipt Home Medical's product offerings and company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage and process third-party billing as needed.
  • Complaint Resolution: Handle customer complaints in a courteous and professional manner, using problem-solving skills and follow-up logs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files and documentation.
  • Training and Development: Participate in company training programs and continually develop knowledge and skills in all areas of the job.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clerical or customer service environment.
  • Skills: Proficient general office skills, including typing, computer, fax, filing, and multiple phone lines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Medicare/Medicaid and insurance billing, bookkeeping, or medical office experience.
Working Conditions

This is a non-exempt position that requires working various schedules, including staggered shifts, to meet the needs of the company.
