The ideal candidate will work closely with a Financial Advisor to provide comprehensive wealth management services to clients. This includes all aspects of client relationship management, such as wealth planning, portfolio analysis, and investment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, understanding their goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
  • Assist in delivering goals-based financial planning solutions for clients.
  • Review and monitor client progress towards goals and milestones in accordance with the financial plan.
  • Work collaboratively with the Financial Advisor to manage and monitor client portfolios in accordance with stated goals, objectives, risk tolerance, and team investment discipline.
  • Rebalance portfolios on a periodic basis to maintain stated allocation targets.
  • Achieve and maintain a solid understanding of all product categories, including managed accounts, complicated retirement accounts, and annuities, and understand their impact on a client's portfolio.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as necessary, including solving problems in client accounts, processing paperwork, taking unsolicited orders, and preparing correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services or wealth management.
  • Successful completion of the Series 7 and Series 66 exams or the ability to do so within six months.
  • Knowledge of the securities industry, its operations, and its products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds/ETFs, annuities, various retirement plans (IRAs, Simple, Roth), etc.
  • Ability to analyze portfolios and select appropriate investments for clients.
  • Understanding of financial planning concepts.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and handle multiple and complex client situations.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to independently manage multiple demands and competing priorities.
