Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Counsel patients regarding their health care and prescription medication needs, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
  • Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches, ensuring that customer needs and concerns are successfully resolved.
  • Stay up-to-date on emergent and urgent health issues, using tools, data, and personal conversations to understand the community and provide relevant care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
