Overview

At Ardent Health, we're seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at our Montclair, NJ location. As a key member of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality food items under the guidelines of state and local regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items in a sanitary and efficient manner
Follow established policies and procedures to ensure quality food services
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Nutrition Services to maintain high standards of food preparation

Qualifications

Considerable knowledge of sanitation regulations and practices
Ability to lift 40lbs or more and stand for long periods of time
Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of experience in institutional food handling, and a culinary school graduate
