2025 Engineering Development Program-System Planning, Associate Data Scientist

We are seeking an Associate Data Scientist to join our team in the 2025 Eversource Engineering Professional Development Program. This program provides a unique opportunity for career development, training, and varied work experience.

The Associate Data Scientist will be part of the System Planning group, which is responsible for ensuring that Eversource's future bulk power system serves customers safely and reliably, while meeting applicable reliability National and local State Interconnection Standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Determining what upgrades are needed in the transmission and distribution system to comply with local State regulatory requirements and National and Regional Standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • Providing superior service to internal and external customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or Data Science.
  • Experience with code development in MATLAB.
  • Preferred experience with the Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox and Database Toolbox in MATLAB.

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including an annual salary range of $76,980.00 to $80,000, plus incentive. The salary is commensurate with your experience.
