About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Security Analyst to join our team at Maxonic. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients' needs by providing expert analysis and insights to reduce consumer payments fraud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Consolidation and Synthesis: Consolidate and synthesize payments data from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
  • Insight Generation: Use data interpretation and statistical techniques to identify insights and develop recommendations for global and regional payments strategies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Proactively communicate insights to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy payment optimization testing.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor and report payments success behavior, revising configurations based on learnings and observations.
  • Automated Monitoring System: Assist in the creation and maintenance of an automated payments performance monitoring and alert system.
  • Predictive Modeling: Collaborate with stakeholders in the evolution and maintenance of the payments success predictive model.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Assume ownership of payments-related root cause analysis.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create and distribute regular payment reports and ad-hoc analysis.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of experience in data visualization, interpretation, and reporting techniques.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
  • Security Knowledge: Knowledge and/or experience in information security or cyber security, including training and certifications such as Security+, CEH, and CHFI.
  • Security Event Investigation: Experience with security event investigation and triaging using SIEM or SOAR tools.
  • Threat Intelligence and Fraud Analysis: Knowledge of threat intelligence and fraud analysis.
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Experience with vulnerability assessment and management.
