NTT DATA Services is a leading provider of IT and business services, seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our security controls and solutions to reduce risk and enable our global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate security controls and solutions based on CISO policies and standards to reduce risk and enable business growth.
- Interface effectively with systems engineering teams to close security risk solutions and controls.
- Design and implement mechanisms for assessing compliance with security standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Identify and execute on opportunities to automate security controls and improve operational efficiency.
- Design and build controls to address security risks and events as identified.
- Define clear, concise, and executable standard operating procedures and documentation for implemented solutions.
- Support security incident response as required and write security incident reports.
- Stay up-to-date on security industry trends and emerging threats.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on security operations.
- Experience with security tools such as Tanium, Qualys, Proofpoint, and SIEM.
- Experience with cloud provider network ecosystems, including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and OpenStack Neutron.
- Experience with Unix/Linux system administration.
Desirable Skills
- Well-rounded background in network, host, database, and application security.
- Experience implementing security controls in a bi-modal IT environment.
- Experience driving a culture of security awareness.
- Experience administering network devices, databases, and/or web application servers.
- Some experience with logging and alerting platforms, including SIEM integration.
- Current understanding of industry trends and emerging threats.
- Knowledge of incident response methodologies and technologies.
