Job Title: Budget Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Budget Financial Analyst to join our team at Addison Group. As a Budget Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating budget proposals and funding requests, collaborating with project managers to develop a budget, and conducting in-depth financial analysis to provide valuable insights into business performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate budget proposals and funding requests to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop a comprehensive budget that meets the needs of the organization.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to provide valuable insights into business performance.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine the value of proposed projects and initiatives.
  • Approve or reject funding requests based on financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Determine whether budget proposals are in compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Defend budget recommendations against management and stakeholders.
  • Develop a final budgetary agreement with management.
  • Monitor spending to ensure it remains within budget.
  • Estimate and forecast future financial needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Ability to prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make recommendations.
