At Wells Fargo, we're committed to helping our customers achieve their financial goals. As a Relationship Banker LP, you'll play a critical role in building strong relationships with our customers and helping them navigate their financial journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their financial needs and goals.
  • Product and Service Offerings: Identify opportunities to offer our customers a range of retail banking deposit and credit products and services that meet their needs.
  • Business Development: Analyze business challenges and identify opportunities to grow our business through strategic partnerships and customer relationships.
  • Account Management: Open and service customer accounts, create plans for follow-up and scheduled contacts, and provide information to internal partners and external sources to enhance the customer experience.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Partner with financial advisors to understand customer needs and connect them with the right resources, and leverage technology to provide self-service digital banking options.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Assessment and Resolution: 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution, demonstrated through work or military experience.
  • Relationship Building: 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners.
Desired Qualifications
  • FINRA Registration: Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration.
  • State Insurance License: State Insurance license(s) required for this role.
  • Customer Service Focus: Customer service focus with experience handling transactions across multiple systems.
  • Relationship Management: Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge and understanding of book of business processes to actively manage a group of Wells Fargo customers to meet their needs and grow the business.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs.
  • Client Interaction: Ability to make client calls and actively participate in the sales development process.
  • Compliance: Knowledge and understanding of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention.
  • Teamwork: High motivation with ability to successfully meet team objectives while maintaining individual performance.
  • Mentoring: Experience mentoring and peer-coaching.
  • Financial Services: Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products/services to fulfill those needs.
  • Business Lending: Experience using business acumen to provide financial services consultation to small business customers.
  • Financial Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of financial services consumer lending products.
  • Technology: Ability to educate and connect customer to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
  • Professionalism: Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and employees.
