Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of inmate-patients.
- Review lab and diagnostic test results to inform treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring patient safety and adherence to treatment plans.
- Document patient progress, diagnoses, and treatments in the medical record.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to ensure continuity of care and programmatic function.
- Provide psychiatric information to the treatment team to inform treatment decisions.
- Active, unrestricted New Mexico nursing license.
- Board certification in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
