Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Coordinate patient wellness and chronic illness activities for the entire patient population.
  • Act in a clinical leadership role, utilizing critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to ensure positive outcomes in clinical care.
  • Supervise daily activities of medical assistants and ensure timely orientation and competencies completion for all clinical support staff.
  • Provide feedback to manager for annual performance evaluations of clinical staff.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
  • Knowledge of and practical use of good business practices.
  • Effective communication and teaching skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and implement educational materials for patients and their support systems.
Working Conditions

Frequent exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
