Job DescriptionVibra-Tech Engineers, Inc., a seismic consulting company, is seeking a full-time Field Technician to join its team in Snellville, Georgia. The successful candidate will travel locally to various work sites to perform on-site vibration monitoring and equipment maintenance. This opportunity offers comprehensive benefits, including medical insurance, 401(k) contributions, paid holidays, vacation, and mileage reimbursement. Estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, proficiency in computer software, and excellent communication skills. A degree in Business, Geology, Earth Science, or related field is preferred but not required. Key responsibilities include conducting pre/post-blast inspections, performing seismograph vibration monitoring, troubleshooting equipment, and providing customer support during field visits.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Conducting detailed pre and post-blast inspections of homes and commercial buildings/structures
  • Performing on-site and remote seismograph vibration monitoring at mining, quarry, and construction operations
  • Troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment
  • Preparing reports and providing customer service during field visits
