Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro Intermediate - Full Time - Nights

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Intermediate team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the nursing team in the care of patients with neurological conditions.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care provided to a group of patients. This nurse leads the nursing team members in the care as directed by the attending physician and in collaboration with other healthcare providers in accordance with the philosophy and policies of ProMedica Acute Care Hospitals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and lead the nursing team in the care of patients with neurological conditions.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care provided to a group of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Lead the nursing team in the care of patients and ensure that decisions made are based on patient and family-centered care philosophy.
  • Participate in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician, and employee satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current CPR training.
  • Specialty certifications as required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period.
Work Environment:

The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to tolerate exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, temperature changes, and exposure to blood-borne pathogens and bodily fluids.
