Job Summary

As a key member of our Renovation R&D team, you will be responsible for guiding product development and process improvement efforts. This involves organizing, managing, and coordinating key projects from conception to commercialization, providing technical support to operations, sales, and marketing teams, and maintaining external and marketplace awareness related to new concepts, products, ingredients, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and launch new products, improving product quality, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market research, and competitor analysis to inform product development and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to operations, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of product launches and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and quality enhancements, and develop and implement solutions to address these opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials, ingredients, and services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to product development, process improvement, and quality assurance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in food technology, product development, and process improvement.
  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Poultry science or poultry processing experience.
  • Experience with new product launches and process improvements in the food industry.
Working Conditions
  • Occasional office work, manufacturing work in cold, wet environments, and occasional lifting items up to 50 lbs.
  • Travel required to plant facilities for pilot plant testing, commercialization scale-up support, and data capture.
