The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contract documents, health and safety plans, and verifying accuracy of delivered materials.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Contract Compliance: Verify that contractors adhere to contract documents, specifications, and materials.
- Health and Safety Oversight: Ensure contractors' health and safety plans are implemented and maintained.
- Material Verification: Check delivered materials for conformity to contract documents.
- Layout Verification: Verify accuracy of contractor's layout.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit daily reports of work performed in accordance with CDR Maguire's and Owner's requirements.
- Effective Communication: Utilize effective oral and written communication skills.
- Instruction Following: Follow and convey instructions accurately.
- Technical Skills: Utilize computers and common office equipment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, sit, and stand; lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Personal Protective Equipment: Wear required personal protective gear/equipment.
- Emergency Response: React to hazardous warnings and signals.
- Manual Labor: Infrequently perform manual labor.
- Adverse Weather Conditions: Infrequently work in adverse weather conditions.
- Chemical Exposure: Limited exposure to chemicals.
- Travel: Travel as required for project-related duties.
- Company Representation: Provide a positive attitude and establish competence and pride in the company.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as required, commensurate with the position.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education.
- Language Skills: Read, write, and communicate in English; perform basic math computations for length, area, and volume.
- Certifications: NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction; NECEPT Bituminous field certification; ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification; PennDOT/PTC CDS certification; ECMS experience; OSHA 10-Hour certification.
