Position Overview:
The role of the Educational Support Specialist is essential in fostering a productive learning environment. This position involves collaborating closely with elementary educators to enhance the educational experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the operation and supervision of the elementary educational program.
  • Work directly with teachers to support instructional activities.
  • Report to the designated administrator regarding student progress and program effectiveness.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is mandatory.
  • A valid California driver's license is necessary.
  • Preferred qualifications include current first aid and CPR certification.
  • Completion of a TB clearance and DOJ background check is required.

Educational Requirements:
Applicants must demonstrate one of the following as mandated by the Education Code:
  • Completion of at least two years of higher education.
  • Possession of an associate's degree or higher.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics.

Additional documentation of relevant training and education is beneficial.
