Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain titanium casting furnaces to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • MIG weld electrodes for the casting process, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Complete all necessary tracking and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Adhere to all departmental and company procedures and policies, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Load molds in burnout ovens, ensuring precise and accurate processing.
  • Train and mentor casting helpers, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in safety improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Meet established production rates, consistently delivering high-quality products.
  • Assist with general departmental clean-up, including sweeping and shoveling of debris.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and mechanical tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, promoting collaboration and communication.
  • Production operation experience preferred, with MIG welding experience a plus.
  • Ability to use and understand basic computer functions.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.
  • Must take a baseline hearing test prior to starting.
Working Conditions

The job is performed under reasonably good working conditions, with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.

Schedule

Alternating Weekend Day Shift: Week 1 (Thursday - Sunday), Week 2 (Friday - Sunday) with a $1.25/hr shift differential.

Alternating Weekend Graveyard Shift: Week 1 (Thursday - Sunday), Week 2 (Friday - Sunday) with a $2.50/hr shift differential.
