Summit Medical Consultants is a dynamic and expanding medical practice founded by physicians in 2015. With a team of approximately 100 dedicated professionals, we are committed to delivering comprehensive clinical services across various settings, including Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Assisted and Independent Living. Our collaborative approach involves working closely with Hospitalists, Specialists, Surgeons, and Therapists to ensure that our patients receive compassionate and coordinated care.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality medical care to a designated patient population, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all services rendered. This role includes active participation in medical staff responsibilities and engagement in quality assurance and utilization management initiatives to promote effective and economical healthcare services. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to support operational goals and drive necessary improvements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver medical care that meets established quality standards.
  • Perform essential administrative tasks within the clinical environment.
  • Engage in medical staff activities, including attending meetings and participating in peer evaluations, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Travel to various healthcare facilities, including Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living locations.
  • Assess care management processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery.
  • Contribute to the identification and analysis of clinical and operational metrics to optimize resource utilization.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with fellow providers, administrative staff, and the community.
  • Encourage collaborative efforts aimed at service improvement and expansion.
  • Participate in relevant committees to strengthen relationships with medical staff and payors.
  • Serve as a role model for colleagues, demonstrating a patient-centered approach and commitment to service excellence.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • Competitive salary range of $95,000 to $120,000 annually.
  • Eligibility for bonuses.

SCHEDULE:

  • Standard 8-hour shifts.
  • Daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
  • No night call responsibilities.
