Position: Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Summary: MedConnect is seeking skilled Advanced Practice Providers with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or Family Practice. Ideal candidates will possess excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate a passion for patient engagement, and have the ability to operate independently while prioritizing patient care.
Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $108,000 to $165,000, along with a performance-based bonus structure, including additional compensation for weekend shifts. The initial three months will guarantee full bonus eligibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate autonomously during solo shifts while having the option to consult with fellow providers and supervising physicians as necessary.
- Deliver patient-focused, evidence-based healthcare to both adult and pediatric populations.
- Accurately interpret and respond to EKGs, X-rays, and laboratory results.
- Conduct bedside procedures, including laceration repairs, incision and drainage, foreign body removals, and joint injections/aspirations.
- Achieve DOT certification within the first three months of employment.
- Effectively manage a high volume of patients.
- Maintain clear communication with clinic supervisors, medical assistants, and technicians.
- Commit to working two full weekends each month and some holidays.
- Be flexible to work across multiple clinic locations.
- Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and encourage positive feedback on social media platforms.
Leadership Roles:
- Mentor new APPs through a peer mentorship program to help them acclimate to the company culture.
- Assist in guiding potential provider candidates.
- Participate in specialized areas of clinical practice and education.
- Address and resolve patient concerns in collaboration with clinic staff.
- Be open to new services, quality improvement initiatives, and clinic protocols.
- Collaborate closely with lead physicians and the Medical Director to adapt to organizational changes.
Qualifications:
- Medical or Master's degree with appropriate certification.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in Colorado.
- Unrestricted DEA license for prescribing controlled substances in Colorado.
- BLS or ACLS certification.
- Experience in Emergency Room, urgent care, or fast-paced primary care settings.
