The Impact You Will Make

As a Sales Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing a customer-focused experience to families, guests, and community members. You will utilize our sales process to guide individuals through end-of-life memorial planning, offering solutions tailored to their unique needs. Your expertise will help families make informed decisions about final arrangements, ensuring they receive the support and care they deserve.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide families through memorial planning, utilizing sales presentations and tools provided by Everstory.
  • Provide options for families to meet their unique needs, including touring locations, identifying plots, and advising on burial, entombment, and cremation options.
  • Manage CRM and lead data, generating new leads through networking, online, and cold calling, and categorizing leads.
  • Plan and conduct community outreach events to build relationships and generate new leads.
  • Complete required paperwork and processes to finalize sales and deliver services.
  • Participate in supporting services at the location.
  • Communicate effectively with local management and team members regarding activity, progress, and results.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or sales preferred.
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required for offsite appointments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook) required.
  • Experience working in a CRM (lead management system) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
