The Role

We're seeking a skilled Sales Counselor to join our team at one of our cemetery locations. As a Sales Counselor, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to families, guests, and community members. You'll utilize our sales process to guide individuals through end-of-life memorial planning, offering personalized solutions and expert advice. Your goal will be to maximize revenue for the organization while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Guide individuals and families through memorial planning, utilizing sales presentations and tools provided by Everstory.
• Provide options to meet unique needs, including touring locations, identifying plots, and advising on burial, entombment, cremation, memorials, and merchandise.
• Manage CRM and lead data, generating new leads through networking, online, and cold calling, and categorizing leads.
• Plan and conduct community outreach events to build relationships and generate new leads.
• Complete required paperwork and processes to finalize sales and deliver services.
• Participate in supporting services at the location and sales meetings.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with some additional education preferred in a related area.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
