About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team at the Assistant Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of multifamily properties, resolving issues, and communicating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and service a portfolio of moderate and high-risk multifamily properties, resolving issues through the application of relevant guidance.
  • Communicate statutes, regulations, and procedures governing multifamily housing to stakeholders, internal staff, owners, and management agents.
  • Develop and implement plans to resolve failing physical conditions at multifamily properties.
  • Analyze and correct property trends and performance issues regarding multifamily properties.
  • Engage with residents, owners, and management agents of multifamily properties to address high-profile issues and general issues with the property, neighborhood, or HUD policies.
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
  • Experience managing and servicing a portfolio of multifamily properties, resolving issues, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of statutes, regulations, and procedures governing multifamily housing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This position is located in Detroit, Michigan, and requires regular travel to multifamily properties. The official duty station for this position will be in Detroit, Michigan. Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for disciplinary action, including removal.
