About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Salt Lake Behavioral Health Hospital. As a Music Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing evidence-based music therapy services to patients with mental health and substance abuse issues.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized music therapy plans to meet the unique needs of patients
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient goals and objectives
  • Facilitate music therapy groups and sessions to promote patient engagement and progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music Therapy or related field
  • Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC)
  • Current licensure as a Music Therapist in the state of Utah
  • Minimum one year of experience in music therapy or a related field
  • CPR certification and Mandt Training
