Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious High Reach Operator to join our team at Lineage Logistics Holding, LLC. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for safely operating a stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pallet Management: Safely lift and place pallets into racks above floor height, and retrieve them for outbound shipment.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices, and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via our Radio Frequency (RF) system.
  • Forklift Maintenance: Complete daily forklift maintenance checks and ensure the equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Battery Management: Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Machinery Operation: Work with other machinery and material handling equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Requirements
  • Mathematical Skills: Possess basic math skills to accurately record and manage inventory.
  • Language Proficiency: Ability to understand instructions in English or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
  • Temperature Tolerance: Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
  • Noise Tolerance: Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.
