We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Operations Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of inventory, while providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise.
- Train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles.
- Communicate effectively with the coordinator on duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.
- Monitor productivity of the team and coach as necessary.
- Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
- Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
- Provide accurate and effective communication with management and associates when setting and addressing priorities.
- 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
