Job Summary

Hyundai Engineering America, Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to monitor and enhance the quality of our construction project and operational processes. This role involves designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, and processes, and developing quality control systems. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, identifying potential malfunctions, and developing corrective actions. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality standards and control systems.
  • Inspect and test materials, equipment, and processes to ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and monitor the production cycle.
  • Communicate and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and schedule compliance.
  • Maintain records of quality control operations and activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related area.
  • State-approved license preferred.
  • 3 years of experience on live construction sites preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Experience with construction-related documentation, submittals, drawings, and reports.
  • Experience with subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and PDF software.
