Job Summary:
As a Production Supervisor with PLI Card Marketing Solutions, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating and directing daily activities in card manufacturing, resolving quality issues, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate work activities of personnel in card manufacturing, as well as personnel in other departments without on-duty supervision.
- Manage daily production schedules in all card manufacturing areas.
- Communicate maintenance issues to the Production Manager and Maintenance Department to ensure timely repair of machinery.
- Review and address issues related to product quality or functionality.
- Track and review waste from the production process to ensure efficient material use.
- Complete detailed production reports, including daily shift summaries and data entry of completed production.
- Perform basic human resource duties, such as timekeeping, vacation approvals, and employee evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
- An Associate's Degree is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
