As a Crane Operator, your primary duty will be to safely and effectively maneuver cranes to lift, transport, and position substantial materials and machinery in various construction projects. Your skills in crane handling, adherence to safety standards, and ability to collaborate within a team will be essential for the successful execution of our assignments.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate cranes and other heavy machinery to lift, transport, and position materials and equipment as necessary.
- Perform pre-operation checks on equipment and identify any maintenance or repair requirements.
- Rig loads and attach lifting apparatus to crane hooks to ensure proper load distribution and capacity.
- Follow signal instructions from team members while operating cranes.
- Assess load weights, compute load capacities, and ensure safe lifting practices.
- Adhere to safety regulations, utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain safe work habits.
- Work closely with ground crew and fellow operators to ensure smooth workflow and safe job site conditions.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to guarantee peak performance.
- Report any equipment issues or incidents without delay.
- Comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely task completion.
- Assist with construction-related duties as assigned.
- At least 3 years of crane operation experience.
