Dredge Electrician

The Dredge Electrician is a key member of our team, responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical equipment aboard our vessels. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including high-voltage switchboards and motor controls
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify root causes
• Attend training sessions and workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest electrical technologies and best practices
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of electrical systems
• Submit regular reports to the Chief Engineer and Electrical Superintendent

• 4+ years of experience in marine electrical maintenance and repair
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and principles
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Valid TWIC card and driver's license
