About the Role

PacSun is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and drive sales growth in our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership: Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet all selling, visual, and operational needs.
  • Product Confidence: Build product confidence by creating accountability and expertise through the use of educational tools.
  • Visual Merchandising: Support and execute all product, visual, and marketing directives, and maintain standards set by the company.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean, well-organized, replenished store and stockroom, promoting a safe working and shopping environment.
  • Customer Experience: Anticipate and determine customer needs and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy: Foster an environment that delivers an engaging, positive, and authentic selling experience to ensure customers return to the store.
  • Performance Management: Accountable to self and others for achieving all company sales, metric, and operational goals.
  • Business Insights: Understand key business reports and payroll tools to evaluate and communicate action steps to drive performance.
  • Loss Prevention: Create shortage action plans to minimize loss and achieve shrinkage goals.
  • Digital Sales: Drive and execute all digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS within the store.
  • Communication: Communicate store and customer feedback to the District or Market Manager to grow the business.
  • Team Development: Consistently coach the Management and Associate teams to ensure alignment and motivation around the company's strategies and goals.
  • Performance Management: Accountable to performance manage underperforming members of the team by partnering with their supervisor and HR.
  • Brand Ambassador: Reflect the PacSun brand by demonstrating passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrate willingness, aptitude, and initiative to learn what is unknown about product, brands, fashion, and trends.

Requirements
  • Education: Possession of a four-year college degree or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Sales Experience: Proven ability to drive sales results in a high sales volume environment.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret all policies and procedures to resolve customer and associate issues.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel periodically to attend meetings and workshops.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills.
  • Experience: Minimum five years retail experience required, with a proven ability to drive sales results.
  • Management Experience: Minimum of two years of retail management experience required.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting: The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • Mobility: The associate must frequently sit/stand for long periods of time and climb ladders as needed.
  • Vision: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Mobility: The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach, twist or squat.
  • Environment: Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
  • Vision: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Travel: Hotel, airplane, and car travel may be required.
