Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist to join our team at Spectraforce Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating multiplex immunofluorescence panels using OPAL or similar technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital pathology and experience working with histotechnicians and pathology scientists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop multiplex immunofluorescence panels for various studies.
- Conduct histopathological evaluation and analysis of IHC and other tissue-based studies.
- Provide technical and scientific leadership to histotechnicians and pathology scientists.
- Collaborate with the Precision Medicine Pathology team to drive scientific strategy for translational tissue-based biomarker development and discovery target validation/MOA projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science related field with 5+ years of related work; Master's Degree Science.
- Close familiarity with the principles of tissue microscopic anatomy/histology, including knowledge of pathological alterations in disease.
- Experience working in collaboration with trained pathologists.
- Extended experience in designing, developing, and validating multiplex mIF assays using OPAL or similar technologies.
- Experience in digital image analysis using Halo or VisioPharm.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively and clearly summarize results for presentation and report generation.
- Strong motivation, attention to detail, ability to think independently, and fully integrate into a high-achieving team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
