Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our electrical distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair all aspects of electrical systems, including medium voltage distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, and automatic transfer switches.
  • Troubleshoot and repair motor starters, relays, variable frequency drives, HVAC and boiler controls, thermostats, and other electronic and pneumatic controls.
  • Work with contractors, salespersons, and factory representatives to repair and replace equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years' experience required in Missouri and Illinois.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use/data entry.
  • Frequent use of vision for distances near and far.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Occasional use of vision to judge distances and spatial relationships and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Rare use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
  • Rare driving.

Professional Licenses and Certifications:

  • Electrical Journeyman - Oklahoma Construction Industries Board.
  • Journeyman Electrician - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
  • Master Electrician - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
