Electrical Systems Specialist

At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the field of electrical engineering. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you'll play a critical role in designing, installing, and maintaining the complex electrical systems that power our spacecraft and launch vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement electrical systems for spacecraft and launch vehicles
  • Install and maintain electrical components, including generators, automatic transfer switches, and surge protection devices
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet safety and performance requirements
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience as a licensed electrician
  • State-issued Journeyman license
  • Knowledge of 3Ø low and medium voltage power distribution systems
  • Ability to work at elevated heights and in extreme outdoor environments
