Job Overview

Position Summary:

The role involves providing essential clerical and administrative assistance to the department. Duties may differ based on departmental needs and specific organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the acquisition of bloodwork across various office locations, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Engage with patients to follow up on any outstanding bloodwork requests.
  • Act as a substitute for the Administrative Coordinator during their absence.
  • Facilitate the procurement of necessary medical documentation and interpreter services.

Core Duties:

· Execute general administrative tasks to support departmental functions (e.g., filing, answering calls, organizing meetings).

· Ensure accurate maintenance of departmental records.

· Uphold confidentiality in all aspects of work.

· Address inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.

· Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

· Proficient in typing and filing with precision.

· Basic understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.

· Capability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain organization.

Education & Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required to demonstrate the above knowledge, skills, and abilities.
