Key Responsibilities:- Achieve sales goals established in the annual producer sales plan.
- Prospect for new business from existing clients and identified target groups.
- Contact prospects to provide quotes and make sales appointments.
- Conduct risk management reviews and collect detailed risk and underwriting information.
- Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance, including details of coverages, limits, and deductibles.
- Work with service personnel to complete company submissions and select potential markets.
- Communicate proposals and renewals to clients and prospects, explaining details and promoting our agency and insurance industry in the community.
- Maintain production reports and attend sales meetings as required.
- Proven ability to pursue and close sales.
- Ohio Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain).
- Three or more years of sales experience.
- Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with unscheduled interruptions.
- Public-facing position requiring appropriate business attire.
Compensation: $60,000 - $100,000 yearly
