As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for pursuing and closing sales of new and existing commercial lines accounts, while retaining our commercial business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales goals established in the annual producer sales plan.
  • Prospect for new business from existing clients and identified target groups.
  • Contact prospects to provide quotes and make sales appointments.
  • Conduct risk management reviews and collect detailed risk and underwriting information.
  • Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance, including details of coverages, limits, and deductibles.
  • Work with service personnel to complete company submissions and select potential markets.
  • Communicate proposals and renewals to clients and prospects, explaining details and promoting our agency and insurance industry in the community.
  • Maintain production reports and attend sales meetings as required.
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to pursue and close sales.
  • Ohio Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain).
  • Three or more years of sales experience.
  • Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with unscheduled interruptions.
  • Public-facing position requiring appropriate business attire.

Compensation: $60,000 - $100,000 yearly
