Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members within the Scrum or development teams, offering insights into technical methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices by the development team and engage in code review processes.
  • Collaborate with designers, product owners, and various stakeholders to deliver holistic solutions, ensuring applications meet established performance benchmarks.
  • Work alongside Enterprise and Solution Architects to outline the future application landscape for DIRECTV and strategize for the transition of legacy applications.
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Systems team to develop and manage budgets for sustaining and enhancing all projects.
  • Oversee the integration team responsible for facilitating transactions between Corporate Systems applications and external entities.
  • Identify risks and seek assistance from leadership when necessary to fulfill commitments or adjust project directions.
  • Actively participate in the development community to advocate for best practices and educate peers.
Qualifications for Success:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software delivery within an agile framework, particularly for mobile-first, cloud-based applications.
  • Essential: Strong understanding of the ForgeRock platform for access and identity management, with hands-on experience in developing ForgeRock journeys focusing on SSO, Access Management, Identity Federation, Multi-factor Authentication, and Risk-based Authentication.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS and ReactJS frameworks is required.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP-based web services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Postman, SOAPUI, and Mockito is advantageous.
  • Experience in deploying and troubleshooting AWS-based applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Independent problem solver with a strong customer- and client-oriented mindset.
Additional Information:
This role may involve occasional travel, estimated at less than 5%.

DIRECTV offers a competitive compensation structure designed to attract and retain top talent. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Low (N1): $127,965 - $191,995
Mid (N2): $134,700 - $202,100
High (N3): $148,170 - $222,310
Top (N4): $154,905 - $232,415
