Power Tool Mechanic

AIRMATIC, Malvern, PA, a leading distributor and manufacturer of tools and equipment for the Industrial and Construction markets, is seeking a skilled Power Tool Mechanic to join our team in our modern, well-equipped Malvern Service and Assembly Shop.
As a Power Tool Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs on customer-owned pneumatic and electric tools and equipment, as well as assembling and testing our private-branded equipment. You will also perform some mechanical repair and maintenance on our plant equipment.
Responsibilities:- Inspect, diagnose, and perform major or minor repair work on pneumatic and electric tools, pumps, controls, valves, and related equipment.
- Prepare work orders, time estimates, and reports detailing repair work performed and parts required in a clear and concise manner.
- Assemble and test repaired equipment in accordance with manufacturers' manual and specifications.
- Perform repair and maintenance on shop, warehouse, and facility equipment.
- Occasionally assist customers with technical questions regarding the use and maintenance of tools and equipment purchased.
- Considerable knowledge of mechanics, working knowledge of electric circuits, motors, controls, and power transmission products.
- 3 years repairing/maintaining power tools and equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational School Degree in a skilled trade is a plus.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, neat, and orderly.
- Ability to prioritize activities needed for prompt turnaround of customer tools and equipment.
- Highly motivated with focused ambition and drive.
- Strong understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the mechanic trade.
- Ability to rapidly move from job to job as priorities and customer demands dictate.
Hours: 8:30 - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Salary: $24 - $26 Per Hour.
