About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. as a Business Development Specialist - SAP on AWS for Healthcare & Lifesciences. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in SAP business development, strategic partnerships, and program/product management to drive growth and innovation in the Healthcare & Lifesciences industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for SAP on AWS in the Healthcare & Lifesciences industry, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive sales, marketing, and customer adoption.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with key customers, partners, and industry leaders to stay informed about market trends and customer needs.
  • Work closely with the AWS product teams to ensure that our products and services meet the evolving needs of the Healthcare & Lifesciences industry.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and other materials to support business development efforts.
  • Travel as needed to meet with customers, partners, and industry leaders.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of SAP business development, strategic partnerships, or program/product management experience.
  • 10+ years working with customers in helping them with technology decisions, preferably in cloud, hosted, and managed services in the technology industry.
  • 7+ years' experience in the Healthcare and Lifesciences industries.
  • Recent experience in working with cloud-native and containerized workloads.
  • Knowledge of business processes enabled by SAP and/or other applications and experience in implementing solutions or selling solutions with ERP.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with AWS services and how they can be used to modernize SAP.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
